FOOD FOR LIFE SERIES: HOW MUCH SUGAR IS IN MY FOOD?

Join us as Kenneth Varner, Community Engagement Manager with Healthy Schools Campaign, leads a FREE virtual workshop discussing the healthy management of sugar intake.

The human body craves sugar. We are wired to seek out and enjoy the taste of it. However, not everything that tastes good is good for you in large quantities. Although sugar is a vital part of life, too much of it can lead to some very serious health problems.

In this workshop we will learn:
  •  how to calculate the amount of calories are in sugar
  • how to calculate how much sugar you actually consume
  • the healthy amount of sugar you should consume

WHERE: Virtual Workshop. Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees.

WHEN: Saturday, December 19, 2020

TIME: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

REGISTRATION: Required. Please complete registration form.
